How about fashion?

Clothing is different now that I am older. When I was young, my mom would say, sometimes it hurts to be beautiful. Probably about shoes. When I was dating, I would wear makeup, cool clothes. I remember platform shoes that almost broke my ankle. When I got married, I would dress up for church and special occasions.
When I lost my girlish figure, I did not worry so much about appearance and go around in barn clothes much of the time. I have clean barn clothes and not so (holey, paint stained,) clean barn clothes.
If I wear a dress, people have commented that they did not know I had legs.
I thought this vid was cool for maybe some fashion emergency.

She has been on Utube for a spell. Some of her fixes make sense.

Ladies! I did them Dumpster Cato Look for years. Never again! It is not expensive to look nice. It makes you feel better. Even just around house and garden a bit of “hello” can feel great.
I grudgingly went to SO’s play dates Christmas party and smeared a bit of tinted CC cream around my face and mascara. He looked at me and said something about an annual event. That caught my attention. War paint when necessary and then done right.
