House Passes Bill to Make Daylight Savings Time Permanent

Good afternoon to all-

Connie Bennet- I agree with you. Let the time be one thing or the other- just settle and go with it.

And you never lied when you talk about dairy farming and dairy cows. If you want to have a very time-limited life, try being dairy farmer for a while. And it doesn't matter if you have a single Jersey for home use or 200 Holsteins for a comm asercial operation. You MUST be there morning and evening to milk and properly handle the milk- and those cows accept no excuses if you've not there...

I'm glad I don't have to milk any more...
you all be safe and keep well- Ed
I really LIKED milking cows although I was younger then. We had a dumping station that sucked the milk to the bulk tank. I used to fill the milkers as much as was safe and then lifted and dumped maybe 50 lbs over and over. Stretching to connect the suction lines, stooping to connect the milkers... I had muscles that rivaled Arnold back then and did not have to pay for the exercise.
But on my own farm, I got a Dexter Cow and could not get down to milk her any more. So just sold her calves and kept her for a pet.
