Hospice or Hospital

If at all, you can get Hospice to stay with you a good part of the day, it is a big help. You should not have to concern yourself with most of this at this point.

Marie, don't try to do all this alone. You consider what you can with Jake, your doctor, and whoever else is involved with you. It's difficult to concentrate, I know.

Hi Lois, this is her daughter Theresa typing for her. I will be here for the next 4-5 days and then my sister will be helping after that; Jake her husband is here helping 24/7 and just watching him take care of mom is amazing. They are considering hospice later in case she needs oxygen, etc., So thankful she has you and others for support on this forum. Many kind people.

The pain is getting worse, so I'll need to go to hospital if hospitals still let you stay till the end. I'm trying to hold off long as possible so I can be home.
Although being home can't control the pain like hospital can.

That is what hospice does though @Marie Mallory. Palliative care provides pain relief too.
