Hate Trump - Love Trump - Don't Hate Trump

I am not a fan of Trump even though I voted for him twice. After the insurrection, he lost me. I did not vote for him or Harris the last election, I did a write in knowing it was not going anywhere. I couldn't in good conscience vote for either one of them. Now getting back to Trump, I absolutely hate that he is using our tax money to use on his vanity projects. He says that he needs to build monuments for himself because nobody else will. Maybe he needs to take a step back and figure out why no one wants to build a monument to him. His gaudy gold makes me sick too. He thinks it looks rich, I think it looks cheap. It reminds me of something Dolly said. She said it took a lot of money to make her look that cheap. By comparison, it's taking a lot of taxpayer's money to make the White House and surrounding areas look cheap. This is just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many other things Trump has said and done that makes me cringe.

For one, the Arch he's planning on building. The reflection pool that the no bid contractor he hired help clean and screwed it up. The unnecessary grand ballroom he's having built without congressional approval. That's just to mention a few. He's too much into cosmetics and not everyone has his gaudy tastes. With all of the billions of dollars he's racked up with this war in Iran, which is still going on, I think we the taxpayers are paying enough for it without having to pay for his vanity projects.
Also, I was upset over Trump threatening to demolish the JFK Performing Arts Center if his name didn't get put back up there. HIs name had no business up there. It's a memorial to JFK. That cost more taxpayer money to have his name put up there and then taken down (if it was ever taken down since no one's seen it as far as I know since the tarp is covering it).
Trump has not asked for permission to have any of his vanity projects (we're paying for) to be built. He just starts having them built and then lets the courts fight over it after the construction starts.

Truer words we never spoken- or written. WE are paying a great deal for the First Felon's "projects". And the financial cost is only the smallest part of what we are paying and will have to pay for his selfish, misguided, and destructive actions.
