Hate Trump - Love Trump - Don't Hate Trump

There are two types of people in the USA.

Those that support their military and the President, and had rather see us try and fail that not to try at all.

Then those that hate the President and the military and when they succeed, find fault because their dreams of Trump failing were dashed.

If everyone would see successes as an American victory and defeats as a gallant effort to strengthen America, then this country would be strong. The Trump haters had rather fight their own country folks than face off with the real enemy.
Why do you hate Trump Faye?

I voted for Trump three times now, and would vote for him a fourth time if I could, because I think he's good for the country, but I can't say that I like the man. We're fooling ourselves if we believe that anyone running for the highest office in the country truly identifies with us and has our personal best interests in mind. While some people are better at hiding it than Trump, who doesn't even try, you've got to have a large ego to determine that you are the best person to run the country, and you've got to be compromised in order to get the support you need to win.

I've been hearing bigger farmers complaining about Trump lately. They talk around the reasons, but they all seem to boil down to loss of massive export profits.

The same people are freaked out by Portland, NYC, Chicago, LA, etc. yet they are unconcerned with goings-on in Europe.

Are they ill-informed, not too bright, or is it about cheap illegal immigrant farm labor and those export profits from hyperintensive agriculture through giant equipment, large-scale irrigation, agricultural chemicals, GMO, etc? RFK Jr. triggers them quickly.

Most of my family in south GA are farmers, and on a large scale. They are all huge Trump supporters and I have not heard anything negative from them.

Perhaps it is just individuals? These people are in Central Kansas and Nebraska and mainly in one crop: wheat. One guy in Iowa is big in corn, mostly going into corn syrup and ethanol.

I was surprised by this myself. They are saying things now like "I want Trump to go back to who I voted for." Personally, I don't see how he has changed that much in his actions and policies.

Sure those giant farms owned by Chinese companies which are many of our mega farms around here, complaint because their using the USA to grow food for China is getting taxed. I would like to see all farm land in the hands of USA citizens only and only those that have no ties to other countries. It was very common to see long trains filled with grain and other products, headed to the coast to be loaded on ships headed to China. We used to see ten mile long trains loaded with coal headed to the coast to be shipped to China. That has slowed also. I say tax the crap out of them.

Wellll, Trump just made a deal on reducing tariffs to have China going back to importing our soybeans. Not sure if any other products are involved.

I can't tell what's going on with J. D. Vance.

He seems to have cosied up to Tucker Carlson. This suggests he may have been captured by the Romney face of the Duopoly and the WEF crowd out of Europe and London bankers.

Or perhaps he's being clever as an infiltrator? That seems a bit too far of a conspiracy theory though. More likely he's been bought - and maybe always was.

I don't think Tucker Carlson is the Romney face of, I'm not sure what you mean by the Duopoly, but I don't think Tucker Carlson has changed much at all. No longer with Fox, he's free to say things that he couldn't say while with the Fox Network, but he hinted at them even then. Rather, I think Trump, not having to face another election, is the one who is showing himself to be something other than what we thought we were voting for in 2016, 2020, and 2024. I'm not saying that I regret my votes because, given the alternatives - Hillary, Biden, Kamala - he was the best choice, and I still like a lot of what he is doing, but there are plenty of reasons for people to reconsider, and to be consistent in doing so.

I'm hearing suggestions that Carlson and the League of Well-Heeled "podcasters" wanted policies of strict isolationism. When Trump doesn't deliver that they speak against him... until the next time they like something he does or says.

Trump and the Republicans in Congress, who have done pretty much nothing in the past couple of years, seem to be working in concert to ensure that the Republican Party does not have a majority in Congress after the November election. I do believe that Congressional Republicans are only comfortable when they don't have the burden of a majority. In the minority, they can pontificate in the media without the expectation of accomplishing a damned thing.

Well I'm only a Canadian here , but hate , no hate , does it really matter . Either way the man is winning because he is getting exactly what he wants from Americans , attention , plain and simple .

Elite - what is being considered elite? A country needs to be run like a corporation. It needs to make a profit to stay in business. Looking at the last several years a number of elected officials considered the US and their insider information their source for personal and family gain. What happened to "for the good of the country"? Trump says A. they say B. And vice versa.
Can Miss Mouse on Social Security do his job?
