I didn't read all about it John, but what I know so far is it's only working on Apple devices. I know there is an app for android, not sure on the website. Look here John because I don't know anymore info on it either http://truthsocial.com/ I also thought it was going to be a site for us all to use rather than Twitter or Facebook. Seems like somewhere I read the User Interface was going to be like Twitter, but I'm not sure at all. I was just ticked because I couldn't sign up, and sign in w/o an iphone. I bet Yvonne and Bobby can get in with their Ipads come to think of it
Today, just now, I had a huge shock from Facebook ! Mostly, the ads that I see are for something that I might be interested in , like health supplements, or even solar generators and stuff like that. Occasionally, I also get ads for democratic politicians, but I figured that was because to am somewhat interested in politics. I have been reading about Facebook losing some of the top executives, as well as having money issues and think that might have something to do with the ad that appeared just now on my timeline, (with video) for a sexual vibrator. For a minute, I was just sitting there in shock, thinking that I could not possibly be looking at what i thought the ad was showing, and then I realized that it was exactly that. This is a new low, even for facebook ! Obviously, I reported it immediately, but I am still shocked that they would allow something so graphic to be advertised.
That kind of stuff is disgusting. Everything seems to be to dig the gutter deeper and then aggressively try to drag every one of us into it. I commented before that the new Apple O/S gives the option of denying data mining by each website we're on. If you have done that, then they can no longer tailor their ads to you specifically, so now you get the grab-bag for the unwashed masses (although after that, I'd be trying to wash it off of me.) For as much as I mourn the demise of this nation, I swear we deserve it.
Due to my age and loss of so many friends over the past two years I went ahead and made another account on fb. I was online approximately 1 hour total before they banned me saying I do not meet community standards. It is a pathetic place and ran by pathetic foreigners who all hate America and you can bet any conservative is targeted. I plan on using another forum and dropping the address only to the two companies I served with or groups on facebook. They might ban me but I am still on the inside with a lot of people. There is always a few people that have groups and won't allow anything political said, to me that is the first sign I won't post on that particular group. So of course there is always personal email and I do get updates for people that die and important other things. I have no plan at all to challenge their targeting of me because I do hate fb with a passion and won't lower my personal standards to their level. In that short time I was on again I noticed there wasn't much activity on either of the groups. I posted nothing but normal post and a couple photos or images, both of those are military tributes to two companies. It was really funny how fast they banned me. My last time active was over a year ago and I closed the account and removed all the content at that time. So no doubt they do target people especially conservatives. It would be a very happy day to see them fold completely. We have enemies on all sides today and it needs to be addressed by the fcc. If a company as large as fb cannot adhere to the constitutional right to free speech they do not need to be allowed to publish on our internet feeds. We pay to make this possible and should not be targeted by a backroom full of foreign morons. I think my reputation is much better than those rag heads who cut peoples heads off and yet they post on fb. It is only a matter of time before they grab the marbles and run home to mommy when they find they can no longer target people because they got their feelings hurt. I am looking forward to making another website but it won't be for the general public, just for my groups that still survive. We are getting very old now, one of our company commanders died last month. He was the 121st company commander, then later became the commanding general of the 1st aviation division. That is what you call exemplary service. He was also the commanding general of Fort Rucker Army aviation center. One 336th pilot became an astronaut, one of our pilots became a Dr and the list goes on and on. My point is all of us make up a cross section of America and insults by the likes of fb dictating to call us out as not meeting community standards. I know what their standards are, spend 400 million to interfere with our national election to see some degenerate in the white house like we now have. I rest my case so time to feed cats and have my morning coffee.

I have been reading that Zuckerberg is about to be gone from facebook. They have laid off/fired over 11 thousand people just recently, over twice as many as they are reporting were laid off from Twitter. It is interesting because the Twitter layoffs (and a lot were people who simply quit, not laid off) was in all the news and people saying how terrible Elon Musk was to lay off all of those people. At the same time, Facebook is getting rid of over twice as many people, and no one even comments about it. Facebook is starting to collapse, I think. The only reason I check it is to see what my family is doing, and I go to Twitter for all the latest news. Also, one of the first things that Elon Musk is doing with Twitter, is getting rid of pornography and anything to do with child pornography, so those kind of people are probably moving even more into Facebook, where it is overlooked, if not completely allowed.
Yes, he set an ingenious trap to catch the bots. Musk ran a poll asking whether President Trump should be allowed back, and he was getting a lot of votes, running at about 80% in favor. Then (almost like in the elections) all of the bot voting started so that Musk reported that they were getting over a million votes per hour, and this is how he drew all of the bots out and was able to remove many of them.
Why doesn't this surprise me, I've not been hanging out in Facebook because most of my friends and family do nothing but "like" my posts. I like communicating with people and I no longer. This is horrific and I hope people will quit sharing their baby's in the raw on there, it's totally stupid All kinds of dirt-bags enjoying the viewing. Oh yeah, FB will tell you no one can see your info unless you say so, but if that's true, then why do you have total unknowns following you?? All from other countries I might add
He's smart, that's for sure. I just hope he used his smarts for good. We have been, and are in a war of good vs evil. Believe it or not.
