Do You Need an Avatar?

Avatars make it easier for people to keep track of who they're responding to, and generally pretty things up a bit.
  • Do I have to use a photo of myself as an avatar?
    • No, any image will do.
    • While I generally use a photo of myself, sometimes it's a photo of myself when I was ten, or any age between then and now.
    • Any image will do - a flower, a picture of your pet, a landscape, etc.
  • What if I don't know how to find, prepare, or upload an image?
    • Let me know what you'd like to use, and I will gladly find or create something for you.
    • If you think it sucks, let me know, and I'll try again.
  • Once I have an avatar, am I stuck with it forever and ever?
    • No, you can change your avatar every day if you want to, but that will confuse people.
    • If I have created an avatar for you and you tire of it, let me know, and I'll change it, although I won't change it for you every day.
 
Not that I don't WANT an avatar and some people are proud of theirs. Some find them fun.
I don't know how to put up pix on this lap top. I am glad Ken and Yvonne are here.
I was sooooooo happy with my Ex P (?) I don't remember how but I could post pix from my camera to craigslist, no problem. Then Spectrum went to some G number and my internet provider said my computer would not mesh with their equipment and then it didn't. I never bothered to learn to set my vcr and now it doesn't matter. I don't intend to learn much technology. If it does not grow in the dirt, I probably don't need it.
My hubby's car would not start in the Walgreens parking lot. I gave a call to my mobile mechanic and dragged it home. This guy went over it and found all sorts of things interrupting the computers. Plastic parts that broke...Oh and the starter was bad. I understand 'starter'....
