Dance Tunes That Kept Us in Shape

Thankfully only the back half was in the bale; it had evidently been chopped with the mow bar — this was in the early mid-60’s when the small farmers were still using side bar cutters.

The look on the neighbor’s face when he said drop it NOW, I knew why.

My area had so many Mississauga Swamp Rattlers, there was a bounty on them for the venom. About 15 years ago I learned they are on the endangered list😳

We had 2 young men here a couple years ago hunting rattler snakes for anti venom. Said good money in it.

Oh my goodness! I have the shivers just reading that🤯

How scary the rattler was wrapped around the clutch.

I have a nightmare-ish vision of the cottonmouth rearing up in the water, mouth open. They are so aggressive. Good shot mom!💐💐

Connie, when you grow up in a place where snakes are common occurrences, they don't bother you as much, although you do try to be careful.

Let's twist again like we did last summer. :ROFLMAO: No, let's twist again like we did yesteryear. I do the twist every morning in hopes of my love handles, showing less love. I thought I was looking good with my slow twist, but after reviewing this video, and comparing with how I looked in the mirror, my slow twist is a sad state of affairs. With leggings and snazzy sports bra donned this morning, I worked it on down, down so low, getting up was even slower and not pretty. :cautious: "You are gonna feel stronger and live a lot longer..." Alrighty then let's get to moving those hips, y'all! :sneaky:

What dances did you do that kept you fit? We lived in an era of beefcakes and babes where jukeboxes and live bands got us to moving.

Chubby is still at it, age 84, but with not the energy he once had.

Do you actually want to live longer or just feel like you did.
