Do you mean Amazon, rather than Microsoft? I have a bunch of Kindles, including pre-Fire Kindles, a Kindle Paperwhite, and several Fires. I have come to prefer Kobo. Since I have so much loaded onto my Kindles, I will continue to use them, at least until I have read everything that I plan on reading, but will be buying new books on the Kobo instead.@Yvonne Smith , Not an Apple brand but I thought this might be a good place to put it. Microsoft is going to stop supporting older Kindle Fires on May 30. Didn't you say one time that you had a Kindle Fire? I think they will stop supporting the ones made in 2011 & 2012. People will still be able to read books that they have on them but not be able to load any more.
If by Microsoft, you meant a Windows-based Kindle app, that may be; I don't know. I have a Mac Kindle app on my computer, which I use sometimes, but I wouldn't really miss it if it were to go away.
