This is something I have done for years back when we had the same doctor for 30th years. Ayr is a also based gel,but you can get in a nasal spray. Back when I turned 50 I started getting bad nose bleeds. He had me get the Ayr gel and told me it only takes itty bitty bit inside the nose. This moisturizes the nose and keeps it balanced . He also said using it helps prevent air born germs. Works for me quite well. Plus I use hand sanitizer before using carts-- and have always washed my hands first thing getting home. However sometimes, no matter what people do for prevention, they get something.
