A couple political changes

The Virginia Supreme Court has struck down the results of the latest redistricting amendment to the Virginia constitution. @John Brunner any comments?

British local elections moved strongly against Keir Starmer's government also yesterday. @Tom Galty what do you think?
I think the Communists shall never ever stop, and that free people just want to live our lives and will not be constantly engaged in battle. So they will continue to push, try to stack the courts, etc etc etc while the rest of us will get back to our lives until the next cliff's edge. I am glad that I don't have to see Obama's commercials on stopping Republicans from gerrymandering, "So Vote YES."

So, today I got an email from Kamala. She started trying to raise funds for an organization of some sort. Not sure for what now.
But to quote her, 'We will always embrace our differences with mutual respect and tolerance.' I think I noticed that in a State house insurection.

The Dems are broke after her disaster of a Presidential run, and even in debt perhaps. They borrowed another $60 million for the Virginia redistricting fiasco, so they are reaching far and wide trying to raise money. The Republican National Committee has about $1 billion in their war chest, so they are now riding high as far as campaign funding is concerned. The Democrat in Alaska running against our incumbent Senator is now proposing no income tax for people earning less than $92,000 a year. You know they are desperate when Democrats want to cut taxes. Of course AOC, Schumer or whomever would never allow anything like that to go forward.

A Virginia Republican was being interviewed on the radio about Hakeem Jeffires (D) New York sticking his nose in Virginia's redistricting battle. The interviewer said that Jeffries needed to "keep his cotton-picking fingers out of Virginia's business." The Republican said "I agree." Now Virginia Dems are calling for the Republican to step down, because "racist."

Yeah but your Dem making the no tax offer will probably get her elected.

I am sure that is the hope. She got into the House for one term by election shenanigans, but was voted out the next election. Now she is going for the Senate and is being financed by the California Democrats, not those in Alaska. I really hope she doesn't win through election messing like before. The Senator she is running against is our good Senator. I don't think many people believe Democrats proposing tax cuts.
