I remember they're being a ton of TV westerns during the 50s and 60s. I watch the bunch the ones I remember are: Roy Rogers, Maverick, Cheyenne, Gunsmoke, Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, and Rin Tin Tin.
I still on occasion hum from Rin Tin Tin the song White Buffalo.
What TV westerns did you enjoy back then?

Sky King, Have Gun Will Travel.

Classic TV plays short-lived ones like Trackdown (Robert Culp) that I don't remember.

    Since you're a music guy...

The composer and singer of the Have Gun Will Travel theme (The Ballad of Palladin) was Johnny Westerlund (conveniently shortened to Johnny Western.) He performed with Sons of the Pioneers, and was part of the Johnny Cash Road Show for nearly 40 years.

I love the big band sound of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons, especially the horn section playing the Flintstones and Jetsons themes. Research leads me to conclude that I will never know who any of those players are. It seems that whoever was kicking around that day got to play that set...and then they were gone.

I remember the term "Studio Orchestra" or "Studio Band" and whoever was in the Union and available could play. I don't know if they kept records of who was playing 4 the different shows, unless you are a Johnny Carson that had a famous orchestra leader.
I have a question can you tell me what the binoculars are next to the threads?

I have a Warner Brothers Studio Band album. I forget what's on it...it's not handy right now. I believe it's a bunch of classical and orchestral music, since that's what played on so many shows and cartoons.

Regarding the binoculars...I don't see what you're referring to. There are a couple of different Styles you can set for the forum, and I just tried both of them. I assume that binoculars universally mean "Search," but until I can find them, I can't tell you what they search for.

    So where are they???

Never mind. I see. Those mean that you are "Watching" those threads.

Right now your Account Settings are probably configured so that when you comment in a thread, you are automatically Watching it, which means you get Email Notifications and/or Alerts when another comment is posted.

You can also click on the words Watch Thread at the top of a given thread if you would like to receive those notifications even though you have not commented.

I don't get those binoculars in the Forum Setting I have implemented ("Default".) I forget how I know which threads I'm watching.
