Five years ago, in response to a Facebook challenge to list 15 books that I have read that will always stick with me.
My choices were:
1. The Bible by a bunch of people with some help from God
2. Lost Boys by Orson Scott Card
3. Deus Irae by Philip K Dick and Roger Zelazny
4. Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
5. Rag Time by E.L. Doctorow
6. A Maggot by John Fowles
7. The Tales of Alvin Maker by Orson Scott Card
8. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K Dick
9. Valis by Philip K Dick
10. 1984 by George Orwell
11. East of Eden by John Steinbeck
12. Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut
13. Mere Christianity by CS Lewis
14. The Lord of the Rings trilogy by JRR Tolkien
15. Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee by Dee Brown
When I've had time to reflect, perhaps I'll post a revised list that might include some I've read since then and bump some of these off the list.
Which 15 books will you remember?
