    Gardening

Our garden needs tending to, but due to the triple digit temps, and smoke drifting down from Canada right onto us, I haven't been able to get out to it. My tomato plants are rather high and need staking badly. The fruit is still green on it. I don't see peppers or egg plant as yet.

    What's for supper?

Grilled sword fish. Don't have that too often due to the price and mercury, but I love that fish.

House Passes Bill to Make Daylight Savings Time Permanent

I like this and it took them long enough to do it. Let's what the Senate does with it. Certain states will want to opt out.

It Can Only Happen To Me

On top of everything else, my old keyboard stopped working, so my son sent me a new one. Well, it works fine, but not with my present set up cursor wise. Just not enough room on the laptop for both nano receivers. So. today he sent me a hub extender and here I am. Good grief.

It Can Only Happen To Me

There has been a problem with my keyboard and I wasn't able to type. My son is here now and hopefully it will be ok now. If not we'll get a new one. I am feeling fine. I have decided not to have that biopsy procedure much to my cardiologist's delight. He was really conderned.

It Can Only Happen To Me

Well, folks, here I was all geared up for my lung biopsy tomorrow and I awoke with a fever of 101.7 degrees this morning. The nurse called the radiology department at the hospital and they immediately cancelled my procedure. Until we find out what ails me, I'll have to wait now. One would...

How's the Weather Where You Are?

It is still in the 90s here, and my A/C stopped working. So, just have the fans on full steam and relaxing.

    Grocery stores

In shopping areas, it is common for drivers to park alongside of you if that spot is open. No one here has reading comprehension difficulties at all. More likely you have some paranoid issues along with anger problems.

Old time perfumes, lotions, shampoo, and hair stuff we remember

Lemon-Up was my go-to shampoo when I was a teenager. I remember my mother buying oil cloth to cover our kitchen table and an all-purpose table for our sun porch. There was always enough for us to cover our school books which we loved.

Which of these foods/drinks do you still make, eat, or drink?

That sounds great as I eat it with cracked peppercorns. Delicious.
