Agree. But I think he hoped the people would rise up again. Not sure I would if unarmed. Then he did not want to destroy the infrastructure which would have hurt the people, not the IRGC. It will get done. Lots to consider. Nuclear still has to be dealt with in the end.

Most of the politically correct product name changes (because apparently everything on earth is racist now) had nothing to do with the government. Pressure from fringe lunatics made companies bow to pressure or else they were "racist". Removal of military statues and renaming military bases still annoys me but the democrats were trying to buy votes by virtue signaling. That was stupid and annoying, blatant pandering.

There is no justification for the renaming of any of the Great Lakes, or the Gulf of Mexico for that matter. Simple political posturing that benefits no one. People are tired of it.

From what I gather from talking to people. even the MAGA supporters are a bit miffed over the Ontario thing. I guess the lake was named by the natives and the Canadian province was named for the lake, not the other way around. We in Alaska liked naming the highest mountain in North America Denali, as we all call the mountain by that name and it again is a native name meaning Great One. It is certainly preferred to naming it after a president who never saw the mountain and did not really care about it when he lived. In my opinion, renaming the mountain was the only thing Obama did that was good in his entire 8-year Presidency.

Men can take over women’s sports, and names on a bathroom do not mean anything anymore.
If Sam decides his name is Sarah and he wants to wear dresses to work, we are supposed to call him Sarah and let him use the ladies bathroom now.
To me, any and all of these are much harder to live with than if President Trump trolls the liberals and Canadians about the name of a lake.

If you think "senile, dottering old bad man" is name calling then we obviously have much different definitions of "name calling". By the way those terms are absolutely accurate descriptions of the individual under discussion.

There are many, many more "name calling" descriptions which accurately apply to the First Felon, but I don't use those terms in the company of polite people.

You are allowed to insult Trump, as long as the insults aren't vulgar, because he is not a member here. Discussing issues rather than people is generally more effective, but just as others are allowed to insult AOC, Bernie, or others on the left, you can do the same for Trump or other Republican politicians.
