Yes, she inspired my avatar. I like that she's sweeping. I seem to spend half my life doing that.
I don't know if anyone else is following the two eagles at Big Bear Valley, Jackie and Shadow. It's a 24 hour feed, and they've got 2 eggs due to hatch at the end of March/beginning of April.
I watched their last two go from hatchlings to their first flights.
It won't let me post the URL link, I think because it's a live feed.
Egad. No wonder I avoid daytime television. Wow, people sure are screwed up!
People like that make me so tired. I can see why humanity is facing demographic collapse!
That is beautiful and I have never heard of out before either. I love the Seekers songs , too !This …. I briefly mentioned the seekers yesterday and @Don Alaska mentioned he has some of their recordings on Vinel
After “playing” on the forum , I asked my Google home base to play the seekers album its called Google Max hub (it’s got a screen like a iPad )
This tune from 1964 came up and I’d never heard it before …I think ….its beautiful …Judith had the most calming wonderful voice of any female I’ve ever heard , infact I fast forward most female singers when I ask google to play a few songs as I prefer males signing
It was honestly the first time I’ve ever heard it on Spotify
We watch that one off and on.Anyone else like "true crime" and live courtroom coverage? I am fascinated by high-profile cases like Jodi Arias, Casey Anthony, etc. Last year a doctor in Hawaii tried to murder his wife on a hiking trail, but was interrupted by two women hikers who basically saved his wife's life. His trial is underway and I was just watching the video of the wife's testimony, which is chilling. "Gerhardt Konig is accused of trying to kill his wife, Arielle Konig, on the Pali Puka Trail on O'ahu, Hawaii, on March 24, 2025."
Today I'm going to watch the testimonies of the two women hikers who heard the wife screaming and basically dragged her to safety. Here is a Youtube channel that has posted the daily courtroom sessions if you like that kind of thing. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0rD2iN-yNWJAbQct-gXtA27Aqn9Ta4H4
If you have no interest in forensics and boring stuff, you might be interested in hearing the wife's testimony...
I'm half way thru, and I agree. They showed me how dangerous some meds can be in the early 70s.I've listened to this guy before, and generally agree with him. He has a different topic for every episode.
I just finished watching that one, @Beth Gallagher.
They did a number of songs in languages other than English. It was great when I could still speak those languages. This …. I briefly mentioned the seekers yesterday and @Don Alaska mentioned he has some of their recordings on Vinel

I have loved true crime stuff since I was in high school. Courtroom stuff not so much. I like the puzzle solving of forensics and detection.Anyone else like "true crime" and live courtroom coverage?
