Little Known Facts That Might Interest You

Pet medication scam.

Were the pet meds cheaper or more expensive? We used to do a lot of self administered animal and livestock medication. When we did it, the animal stuff was generally cheaper but was the same stuff. If you remember the ivermectin and fenbendazole warnings that emerged during and after the Covid pandemic, there was all this stuff about not using the animal stuff on humans. They were the SAME med, although in some of those cases, the concentrations were different. You don't wan to give a 180 pound human the same amount as a 1200 pound horse.

According to the pharmacist in the video, the pet version of the medication was much more expensive. I'm sure it depends on the medication and dosage, but those pills he compared were the exact same, down to the ingredients and factory stamp on each pill.

The world’s oldest dog lived to 29.5 years old. While the median age a dog reaches tends to be about 10-15 years, one Australian cattle dog, ‘Bluey’, survived to the ripe old age of 29.5.

The world’s oldest cat lived to 38 years and three days old. Creme Puff was the oldest cat to ever live.
Cat lived approximately 9 lives longer than the dog.

Despite the popular myth that fruit flies only live 24 hours, the average lifespan of a fruit fly is to 40-50 days under ideal conditions. During that time, female fruit flies can lay several batches of eggs, allowing the fruit fly population in a home to grow quickly. Fruit flies also live longer in warmer temperatures.

How I get rid of fruit flies... take a Pepsi bottle... cut the top of it off. Turn it upside down into the bottle and tape it on. Pour vinegar, beer or whiskey in it. Sit back and gloat as they go inside and can't get out. Die, you !*&%!!'s.

Wine works too for fruit flies.

Interesting facts about Mar-a-Lago.

Built in the 1920s, Mar-a-Lago was originally the estate of Marjorie Merriweather Post, a businesswoman and socialite who was one of the wealthiest women in the United States. Real estate mogul Donald Trump purchased the property in 1985 and used it as a private residence until 1995, when it opened to the public as the Mar-a-Lago Club.

The mansion has 58 bedrooms, 33 bathrooms with gold-plated fixtures, an 1,800-square-foot living room with a 42-foot ceiling, a ballroom with gold leaf decoration, and a 75-foot tower. Designed by Marion Sims Wyeth in an ersatz Hispano-Moresque style, it boasts some 36,000 antique Spanish floor tiles and 2,200 square feet of black and white marble floor blocks imported from a Cuban castle. Its exterior walls are constructed of Dorian stone, a fossil-bearing limestone, imported from Genoa, Italy.

Other features of the property include a citrus grove, greenhouses, several tennis courts, and two swimming pools. A tunnel leading under South Ocean Boulevard provides private access from the house to the beach. To keep the mansion hurricane-resistant, it is anchored to a coral reef by concrete and steel.
