They dropped a bomb on our military base in Bahrain.
You do not bomb Americans and not expect our President Trump not to retaliate. Now, Iran thinks that the UN is going to protect them………. Good luck with that !

When you Google it, like I did there saying that he has not been reported killed.


As of February 28, 2026, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has not been reported killed, though major Israeli and U.S. strikes have targeted his offices and senior Iranian leadership in Tehran.

Here is the situation based on reports from Feb 27–28, 2026:
  • Supreme Leader Status: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian are still alive "as far as I know" despite strikes near their compound.


Not sure if they are telling the truth. Their saying this.

On X/Twitter, people from Iran are reporting that the Ayatollah has been taken out, but it is not officially confirmed. People are posting pictures of the Iranians celebrating in the streets, and women taking off the hijabs, and being happy to be free of Islamic rule, since actual Persians are not Islamic, or weren’t until they were forced to do that. They are already talking about changing the country name back to Persia, which I think would be awesome !
Our friend from there always calls himself a Persian, not an Iranian. I do not think that people would be out dancing in the street if they were still fearful of the Iran military killing them for being out there, so that seems like a positive sign to me.

I have been reading that, too. Besides our base in Bahrain, several other countries had missiles sent at them, although most of them were stopped before they hit the targets. These countries are already ready to help stop the Iranian leaders from doing any more damage to their own country, or to any other countries.
Interestingly, It is the UK that seems to be holding back , and they might be who ends up being called upon by Iran for help.

It looks like their king is going to be able to come back, @Shirley Martin . He has been in exile in the United States since he was a little boy, and the people are excited about him coming back. He is already posting online about what he hopes to accomplish in the next six months, once the Crown Prince is back as their leader.

I think Trump understands that "Nation Building" such as GW Bush and his crew leads to failure @Shirley Martin. That is why he left the VP in charge of Venezuela instead of installing a puppet government. As long as the current government doesn't do anti-American actions, they will be left alone. I think the same will be true of Iran/Persia. Persians are the dominant ethnic group in Iran, but there are several other groups, and that was pointed out in Netanyahu's address to the world following Trump's.
 
Israel has now confirmed that the Ayatollah has been killed. Apparently, the Israeli role in this attack was to take out he Iranian leadership, while the Americans concentrated on military targets. The war is expected to last a number of weeks, but the Americans and Israelis are expected to have air supremacy by Sunday. If the people rise up and the Iranian military (not the IRGC) take the part of the population, things will calm down.
