My goodness, Helene! I never realized the region of Poland was so beautiful. I image your gift of photography, if you took the pictures, or your choice of sharing others photography adds to the beauty immensely. Either way, you have a good eye. Seriously, you had me gasping in awe. Too think, I was so close to visiting years ago and missed the opportunity! Now, I am adding a visit to Poland on my bucket list. The Baltic Sea looks amazing. Have you ever visited the United States?
I haven't been up to Poland's Baltic coast, but I've been to Krakow where there was a helpful sign to tell me how far from home I was...
Thank you for posting photos, @Helene Lawson and @Tom Locke. I am enamoured with photos of European countries and it is my dream to go there someday. I may have the resources to travel but I don't know anyone in Europe. I have traveled in several countries in Asia but I still feel that I am not fulfilled until I have traveled to Europe, at least in London or France. That Edynburg caught my eye. There is an Edinburgh in Scotland (correct me if I'm wrong). Is there a relation?
I didn't take those pictures, so no credits for me, but I think that these photos are really stunning. You should definitely visit Poland, there's so many beautiful places, right now I'm staying at the Baltic sea for my Summer Holidays, and it's very hot here. No, I have never been anywhere out of Europe, but I would love to visit the United States in the future, the flight duration is very long though (about 10 hours).
How fun to be at the Baltic Sea for your summer holidays! Someday, I will go visit myself. I have a big bucket list of places. I hear you about the long flight, best to take a little nap, watch a movies, and read a book. Before you know it, you have arrived. Well, it will also depend on how many connecting lights you have in store for you. Sometimes I find this to be the biggest downfall to flying. I find it best to book flights with longer layovers in case of delays or terminal gates beings so far apart. Yes. I have learned my lesson too many times. Oh, are you dreaming or do you seriously have plans to more to Torun? It does look beautiful! Also, thanks for sharing more pictures (whether yours or not, still great ). I am enjoying this thread thread!
