Hey @Joe Riley , This was one of the big conundrums Michael had. (Another was the JFK shooting.)

Michael started picking apart all the different things that caught his attention just after they began airing footage. His first question was, "How is that flag waving in 'what' wind? After that he search and found so many things that made him question our space program.

He wished he could be sure that we actually did as claimed, but he never got any answers to his doubts.

There is a place near Flagstaff, Arizona, called Cinder Lake. Apparently, back in the mid-60's, NASA dropped bombs there to make craters and have a simulated Sea of Tranquility so the astronauts could train for the moon.
However, when you look at the pictures that were supposedly actually taken on the moon and compare it to the landscape in Arizona, the background between the two is very close.
Coincidence ........ possibly; but an interesting comparison, in any case.

...The way in which i see it is...if they had REALLY landed on the moon back in `69...they would have followed it up with further landings...most likely within five years from the so called first one. It would have been the natural thing to do, after all. People have argued at different times, that the costs involved were just too insurmountable, but, i am unable to buy that. How much to the national budget at the time did it cost to maintain the conflict in Vietnam...?

    Between 1969 and 1972, there were 6 "moon landings". (Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 & 17) I believe they were all faked.

Here is one of the supposed pictures of the astronauts on the moon. In the background you can see Earth. When you zoom in on the part of this picture where the earth is at, you can see that it has been photoshopped in, and there is a square around the part where the earth shows.
It is still black, and you can't see it unless you zoom in on that part of the photo, but then you can see a distinct square where the earth was put into the composite of this picture.
Another thing wrong is the size of earth from the moon. We see the moon about this size at night, but since earth is a LOT larger than the moon, it should be HUGE in the background, and not the small size they are showing it.

I think about the seer number of people who would have to be in on
a conspiracy to deceive the world on just one moon landing, let alone
    6.

Number would have to be in the many thousands.

No real proof of a cover up; no one speaking out about their part
    in it.

How would you go about faking 6 moon landings?

This was just a movie, something Hollywood thought up...

The space suits had no protection against radiation. If the first flight was impossible, the remaining 5 flights would have been impossible. Only the astronauts and flight controllers who manipulated the pictures and signals, along with stage crew would be involved. The majority of technicians would be fooled along with the TV viewers. We lived in a trusting world where people did not question.

...In the space of just THREE years....SIX supposed moon landings....? Not even the most creative minds in Hollywood could give any credence to THAT flagrant piece of scandal...!!

You are Probably all looking at fake photos and videos. Even the Russians have gone to the moon!

All the pictures youre analyzing and taking apart probably are all fakes.

    http://web.archive.org/web/20030610181152/moontruth.com/full.htm

I have no idea why people even want prove it false.

What I find incredible is that all these conspiracy theories are from our lifetimes and you can't believe them but the Bible goes way back and everything in it is taken for truth???

I'm not bothered one way or the other, they did - they didn't
But - could never fathom the 'radiation' aspect of it. Theres a radiation belt to get through
So I am confused by it - but that's all, just confused. I don't lose sleep thinking of it :p

Here's one answer...of course nobody reads the answers. These conspiracy theories are worse than fake news for me.

    +
3.1 Isn't it impossible for a human to travel through the van Allen
    radiation belts and live?

The van Allen "belts" are zones of radiation where high speed particles
(such as protons and electrons) that have been trapped from the Solar
wind by the Earth's magnetic fields. The inner van Allen belt extends
from about 1,000 to 5,000 kilometers above Earth's surface, the outer
van Allen belt extends from about 15,000 to 25,000 kilometers above
Earth's surface. The radiation in the van Allen belts was a serious
concern for the Apollo program. The Apollo spacecraft were designed to
provide some protection from the van Allen radiation, but more than that
the mission was designed so that astronauts spent the least possible
amount of time in the van Allen belts. The actual amount of radiation
received by the Apollo astronauts during their passage through the van
Allen belts is difficult to determine but it is estimated to be about
    2 rems (or 20 milli-Sieverts).

In comparison, a modern chest X-ray will deliver about 10-20 millirems
to the subject, radiation doses from background radiation (cosmic rays,
radon, uranium deposits, etc.) for the average human living on Earth is
on the order of 100 millirems per year, and annual doses for people
working around radiation (for example, X-ray technicians, nuclear power
plant workers, etc.) can range up to 0.4 rems per year. The "maximum
permissible dose" for radiation workers on Earth is 5 rems per year or
25 rems in a single emergency exposure. A 25-100 rem dose will increase
a person's chance of developing cancer. Around 100-200 rems, a person
will experience nausea several hours after exposure. Above 300 rems,
severe vomiting, and hemorrhaging will result nearly immediately, loss
of hair, and other health effects will result fairly rapidly, greater
than half of the people exposed to this much radiation will die within 2
months. Above 800 rems, diarrhea, dehydration, and problems with
digestive organs will result rapidly, over 90% of people exposed to this
much radiation will die within two weeks. Above several thousand rems,
death results in a few days and convulsions and nervous system failure
occurs almost immediately. So, 2 rems is certainly a lot, but by no
means would it cause instant death or illness. And in fact is most
likely to cause no noticeable immediate or long term effects.

I can understand if you're at least consistent in saying things are fake but that's not the case...most conspiracy theories are selective and with an agenda in my opinion.

I'm not sure...anti government or anti NASA or anti science.

I really don't know...my husband was a big UFO believer and maybe some conspiracy theories so I had enough from him, I usually tuned him out then...even though I loved him. :)

I try to avoid this section but it pops up in recent posts! :(

Wish we could block a whole forum board.

I actually become physically ill in this section...I'm not exaggerating ....I'm sorry but I can't help it.

This is my last post here...Ive finally calmed down, lol.

Maybe I'll just stick to the good morning post. :p
