Yesterday I was preparing to go to the flea market. I was gathering everything that I needed and reached for my cell phone and turned in on and it didn't power up. Okay, I remembered that I had ordered phone batteries so I removed the back, took out the battery and reached for the package that had the phone batteries in it. Oh no, the wrong batteries! Why I had ordered batteries for a flip phone that wasn't working I have no idea. Any way I thought what the heck I still have the phone let's see what happens. Well it worked after 3 years! This flip phone was dunked into a cup of grape drink by my then 2 year old granddaughter who is autistic. I had tried everything to get it working again. Rinsing with cold water and letting it air dry, replacing the battery what ever I could think of I tried it and it just wouldn't power up and stay on so I stuffed it in a drawer. I guess I kept it with hopes that it would work again. It is the second cell phone that I purchased at the flea market several years ago for $10. It was my 'deal of the day' then. I probably have the old cell phone around here somewhere but it doesn't have a camera or internet capabilities. So now I have two phones, a smartphone and one that is not so smart.
