Are they trying to punish Florida or what? I have an amazon account and have had good service. I buy from them and then have it sent to Florida to a mail forwarding service that sends it to the Dominican Republic where I pick it up. I have used this service for years and had no problem. I just tried to reorder some solar lights and they told me they can not ship them to Florida I thought it might be a new law or something so I tried another order like some magnets and boomerang for the children. The result was the same can not be shipped to Florida. They will not tell you why. .
Just for my own edification, I tried to see what the problem might be. The only restrictions I found were on things going to California because of the state's stringent regs on stuff (you can't have an inflatable pool because of water restrictions.) I saw nothing specific about Florida. How can solar lights be a problem???? Maybe there's an issue sending to freight forwarders.
I had to put the same address in one time more same address and now it works. Success makes you wonder what is going on.
Beth we finally resolved the problem I deleted my address that I have used for years and then put in the same address and it went through. So what ever it was that caused the flagging it has gone away.
That makes no sense. It sounds like a glitch in some Zip Code database upgrade. Was your Box Number included as a suffix to your Zip?
