Years ago, the popular medical discussions were about Sugar Diabetes. Now you never hear that term...you only hear about "Diabetes". Doesn't sugar enter into it anymore? Hal
To many other things to talk about now. Diabetes is all about sugar/glucose. Either not producing enough (Diabetic II....wife and I) or not producing any (Diabetic I that requires daily insulin shot).
I remember my mother calling it "sugar diabetes." I guess that was just the old name for it. She also thought we could "catch" sugar diabetes by eating too much candy.
