There was a time when you could get two of me in my old mirror, now I fill it, even when I breath in.
Sometimes I see a bit of my mother now but mostly I just try to look long enough to make sure my face is clean and then move on quickly.
I am old and I am stupid. My journey with my Savior has been very painful so far and I don't expect that that will change. My arrogance and self beatification are so obvious and so foolish. that i can hardly stand to look in the mirror. My prayers have become simple. Forgive me, Jesus. Teach me, Jesus. Save me, Jesus.Thank you, Jesus. If there were an army of believers marching against Satan I once would have wanted to be the leader on a beautiful horse at the head of it. The big hero. I am an idiot. Now I only want to be part of it, perhaps at the end of the line carrying food and water for others or caring for the sick and injured. Have you ever cried so much that you get headachy from dehydration? I will say one good thing about myself. I do not back down. I was that way before I accepted Christ and now with Him at my side I will spit in Satan's face. He don't scare me a single bit. I know i reveal too much of myself on this website but I have no other outlet and no friend to share these things with. Sorry, sorry, sorry.

@Dwight Ward Don't sell yourself short Dwight. You are God's child and he will never leave you. Believers are living between when we were saved, and when God takes us Home. He is transforming us daily into the exact image of his Son. His Grace is "Grace in Motion", and he daily provides each believer with the new morning mercies that we will need for THAT day. His transforming work can be uncomfortable. Lean on his grace!
