The son of one of our (this far non-participating) members is doing a survey on things that seniors need help with. He was upfront with it and asked permission to post the link, so I explained that this forum is only for seniors, fifty and older, but promised to post the link for him. I have completed it, it's only a few questions, doesn't ask any identifying questions, and it seems harmless, so. here's the link to the survey. You are certainly under no obligation to participate but if you'd like to, I don't see any harm in it.
I don't think "non-seniors" should be able to post here, even when using a "work-around", by having their non-participating member/parents ask a mod/member to do it. It is just a form of spam, in disguise.
Non-seniors aren't allowed to post here. I have removed several posts and accounts for this reason. In this case, I left the account open in the event that his parents were interested in participating and, if not, it will be removed in less than a year. Rather than pretending to be a senior and post it, he asked me about it, and I appreciated the honesty, looked at the survey, and decided there was no harm in it.
I took the survey and was going to comment that I mostly did it to reward the guy for going through the front door, and subjecting it to review and approval. Heck, I personally once (or maybe twice) reported unapproved survey links on this very forum. Besides, we are only seniors here based upon our personal assurance.
I bet the kids are done with this project, but I just filled out the survey anyway. I don't mind it being posted here, since it could be for our benefit at some point.
