I beg to disagree, @Hal Pollner . Two women having sexual relations is as unnatural as two men doing it. Unnatural; as in not what nature intended.
I don't think about these things...not my problem or business is the way I look at it. If it affects me or my loved ones then maybe but so far it hasn't. Aside from the religious factor...how does a gay couple getting married affect me personally in any way? I have no side in this...but if I was forced to make a cake I didn't want to I'd make it terrible tasting and I might even accidentally on purpose put something yucky in it. Also, if I forced someone to make a cake, I wouldn't feel good about eating it...I'm too paranoid. I don't even like to send back or complain in a restaurant because I'm sure when it comes out there will be spit in it. Or worse.
I know plenty of people who would disagree with gay marriage for reasons having nothing to do with religion.
Yes, besides religion...why? I don't understand. I do understand the religious objection even if I don't agree with it but not any other reason.
Someone doesn't have to be religious to think that men belong with women rather than men with men, and women with women. You may disagree with them, but there are plenty of non-religious people who find homosexuality to be abhorrent or disgusting.

Lots of things are disgusting and abhorrent. I mind my own business and as long as nobody comes into my house and has sex in front of me...I don't care what two consenting adults do in their home or car, etc. Everybody just sees the flashy parades etc and lifestyle but there are many quiet homosexuals that just happen to love another man...you can't really choose who you love with all your heart...why deny them a whole life without that just because you don't agree with it. It's cruel...love is love. Just my opinion.
Yes, I understand....and I guess if I think about it more I'm sure some are against it that are atheists. I also see it as a macho thing...with men anyway. To be honest, it's something I think very little about....just isn't a part of my life in too many ways. I watch "Shameless" on Netflix and that has quite a few pretty explicit homosexual, lesbian and regular sex scenes ...I don't care for it and will fast forward after a minute ...I'm not interested but I don't have to go and throw up, lol. They do overdo it in my opinion but otherwise I like the show.
