I watched this with a friend last night, and really enjoyed it. We watched the R rated version, since I don't usually care for unrated ones. It's been out for at least several months, and can be streamed via Amazon Video on Demand and iTunes, or rented via DVD/Blu-ray from Netflix and RedBox. There are some really hilarious sections, and it's one I'll probably re-watch at some point. Here's some information from Rotten Tomatoes and a trailer link, in case anyone's interested.
I like Melissa Mccarthy and usually buy all her movies. I only buy movies that make me laugh and that one did. Wasn't Spy a spoof of a James Bond movie? I thought they were setting it up for a sequel.
It was along that vein, so perhaps so. I really enjoyed it. I'd definitely watch a sequel. I liked Tammy, and there were parts of Identity Thief I liked, as well. I haven't seen a few of her movies, but the one with Sandra Bullock was really good, too. I think maybe it was called Feds, but I'm not sure.
