I've been very sick with head, chest but then the panic attacks made it almost unbearable.
Maybe a example of what hell will be like, Yep that bad!
Jake said maybe the BP med diuretic has something to do with it, he said the diuretic made him feel really bad, he now takes Amlodipine. since it was worst ever yesterday, but I also took Amlodipine a few days before also had anxiety.
Whatever it was to make it so bad I don't want another does. I goggled it and it is confusing ,looks like drug company's don't want too much negative things about drugs out there plus you have all the 'natural' Guros pushing their products and books so I'm asking yall.

Marie, I have been taking the following four BP meds for many years: Amlodipine, Metoprolol, Telmisartan, and Terazosin. I never have had any symptoms at all like what you are describing. I don't know if it matters, but I take all four just before bedtime. Hope you guys feel better soon.

John thanks for help, I only take one or the other, but it seems its not the meds so much as it is me. I only take half of 5mg or 2 1/2 mg.
I'm feeling ok today so far. Sure not what I was a few months ago but may have a little energy left in me.

Have you ever had pain between both ears, if so then maybe you should have an MRI to see if you have some collapsed disc. Mine started with the pain between my ears then slowly dropped and then one day I had shortness of breath just dragging a garbage can to the street. It effects your upper body shoulders arms hands etc. My left arm was going to sleep on me while I was sitting here at my desk. My neck is so bad they could only offer a couple steroid shots, which did stop the arm from going to sleep. Neck disc problems never stop and are always changing due to the constant dropping. Then if you haven't had a grinding noise as you turn your head your neck may be fine. It is spooky to hear the neck make such terrible noise. Hope you start feeling better soon.

Thomas, neck is ok far as pain goes, just the blood pressure that has me taking meds plus anxiety. Thanks for advice. Sorry about your neck I do know how that can be too. Mine seldom hurts except on long trips when I drive.

Thomas have you ever listened to Bob and Brad? They really helped both of us with shoulder pain. We still do the exercises every day, only takes a couple minutes.

I've been taking Lisinopril for years; no side effects that I know of. I've been thinking of getting a different Rx because it seems like my BP is creeping up.

@Marie Mallery - we both take Amlodipine. Him 10 mg me 5. for years and no problem. May be your Bp meds need re evaluated on doasges. I think it more possible, that your pain is caused by some thing else. Are you taking anything for anxiety?
I have sever back issues -from time to time. But doctors say it stems from neck , to which seldom bothers me.
All meds have possible side effect including OTC items. What works for one person, may not for another.

Thank you, I am thinking after talking to all of you it probably has nothing to do with panic attacks. Maybe just all the things going on or just happens..
I don't think they have a med for panic it is a different kind of anxiety than depression.
I sure do appreciate all of you here helping me this seems to help just posting back and forth to yall.
Today has not been so bad yesterday was the longest I ever had. I pulled the van up to the gate and told hubby if I get the major fight or flight feeling to get out of here just go with the flow. These things don't usually last but an hour and only come around every 10 or 20 years.

I really surprised us that the neck shoulder exercises worked so well and rather quickly.
I'm glad they are working for you too. There are a couple we do off and on every day now, one is just sit up straight, then take your finger and push your head with the chin back.

BP can change every moment, every food, every thought, dreams, emotions etc etc.. talking a lot or talking a little.

I take 2 older ones Atenolol 25mg in AM, 5mg Amlodipine early PM and these are fine for me...I tend to run higher vs low BP, and I'm not concerned. I know too that if I eat something with a higher sodium I will pop some potassium glucconate to counter the sodium. Doing some short meditations during one's day can also bring down BP.

I’ve just had extensive tests to try to work out why my BP was way way to high considering I was taking 4 different meds .

One of my meds was called Atacand and id been taking a high dose of them for approx 25 years until about 2 weeks ago .

Ive recently had about every test you could think of that included checks on my kidneys ( X-ray with contrast )
heart and BP 24 hour monitor / blood tests
    heart ultrasound .

The dr I’ve seen / ordered all the tests is a cardiologist.

He has changed my pills I’m now taking one tablet instead of 4 and my BP has dropped dramatically to a normal rate.

When I went back to see him a few days ago the nurse took my BP prior to seeing him
it was 130/ 60 I almost burst out crying my BP has never been that low in years and prior to the dr changing my tablets,

    it was normal to have
BP 180 to over 200 …while taking 4 pills to control my BP
So @Marie Mallery if your still feeling unwell
maybe speak to your GP about referring you to a specialist for a second opinion
In fact I asked my GP to refer me as I was sick of feeling so tired from one of the pills I was taking.
