Personal opinion: When the evidence argues against evolution, they'll go to space aliens before giving a nod to creation.

I just had to post that pic even though I know you're dead serious @Ken Anderson.
I read a few of the articles provided by Google and the link you also provided and it's so strange. Strange because there is absolutely no scientific evidence that aliens even exist in ANY form but somehow it's still more believable by some scientists than a planned and eternal reality. Basic mathematics provide for the likelihood of life coming from other planets and our newer findings using a higher math also allow for creation but still..........................?

The Pacific Northwest has long been known for strange creatures there, such as the Sasquatch, as well as the strange “monkey mermaid” which can be seen at one of the Seattle Waterfront museums.
There are pictures of Mt.Rainer with what looks like a round spaceship hovering overhead also; so it is no wonder that the first space alien octopi once landed near Puget Sound when they arrived.
They probably spread from the Sound into the oceans around the world, leaving behind the tiny Pacific Northwest Tree Octupus, as the only remaining evidence to the early flying saucer invasion that originally brought them to this earth.

I have done a lot of scuba and snorkeling and played with octopi. They are quite clever one time in Bonier I was night snorkeling and seen what I though was some one being ignorant, there was a beer bottle stuck in a piece of brain coral. when I tried to pull the bottle out. I found that an octopus was holding it in there so I let him have his bottle..

I just got through watching a 45 minute video late last night about experiments they are conducting to determine the intelligence of the octopus. (See how tortured that sentence was in order to avoid the plural of octopus).

If one has nothing to do, it's kind of interesting. It even ends with the suggestion that perhaps the octopus may take over the world, when they evolve to become smarter than we are.

@Nancy Hart IMO the plural of "octopus" would be no different that that for "cactus".

Take yer pic of "i" or "uses".
