I also miss @Thomas Stillhere. I fear his vertigo has worsened and not many doctors really know and do more than give drugs.
Has anyone PM'd Thomas? (I'm too lazy to read back in the thread.) Maybe I'll try PMing him just in case he has his account set up to send email notifications.
Why do some show Last seen and a date and others do not show that? @Thomas Stillhere - @Teresa Levitt , @Lois Winters, to name a few.
I see a Last Seen Date on all 3 of those. I clicked on your @username link and it popped-up a summary box that shows it on the bottom.
Teresa was just here on Friday, Lois is fine as far as I know, and no one has anyway to check on Thomas. I also fear the worst for him, since his health was very bad just before he disappeared, and we have no way to check and see what happened.
I wondered about that, but I don't think my position makes a difference. -Thomas is July 29, 2023 -Teresa shows for me -Lois shows for me I assume you see Teresa because she is the most recent. I've had the same issue in not seeing these dates, but cannot recall if those issues were before or after getting Mod rights. Nor could I ever figure out why some and not others.
Actually Thomas is the only one where I see the date. I don’t know much about the software that this forum uses. I think I’ve only been on one other so I tend to think it might be me.
It's happened to me, too. I've not been motivated enough to log on with a different browser to test it (although that has sometimes fixed an inability to see pics.) I don't understand why you would be able to see the oldest data and not the very recent ones. If I think about it, I'll look on the Xenforo resources. (You can see the Xenforo admin forum, too. There are no special rights. Just search on "Xenforo member cannot see last seen dates."
If people are in "stealth mode" where they don't want anyone to know they are lurking about, you won't see the "last seen" date. Moderators and Admins can see the dates regardless.
Thank you. I read a couple of posts on some Xenforo forums, and all I found was reference to the Add Ons that make that data point visible, and then some issues caused the feature to not work if missing files and/or images were called. There was one post stating that the feature was enabled by class of member, but mentioned nothing about members being in Stealth mode. So did you verify that you can only see Thomas' status? And this is good to know. I'll look for someone's Stealth Mode status before posting their Last Seen info.
