Get it? This is what we get for being naughty last year...but we'll soon forget.

Always lots of hate to go around. I imagine all those European immigrants brought their own national and class and religious bigotries with them. The only thing everyone agrees on is the French. ;)

According to Smithsonian Magazine, reindeer sleep as they chew their cud during the short summer months, extending their eating hours so as to store up the maximum amount of energy for the Arctic winters.

I was just thinking; Do you think it's time to put the Christmas decorations away?
I don't have any reindeer but I have lots of plain ole deer out back. (to stay on topic)

I always thought that Jan 6 (Epiphany) was the cut-off date...although I think I've been out there in the spring rather than freeze my butt off taking them down in winter.

There was a guy on one of those Shark shows who had lights that stayed up all year. They changed from Christmas theme to New Year's theme to Shamrocks to American flags to Pumpkins to every other holiday throughout the entire year. You were "Innovative Trailer Park." The only thing I see now are all year lights lights that change color with the seasons...but his were actually electronically-generated shapes.

If I did that here, the deer would leave me a case of Schlitz on my porch (to keep it on topic.)

Maybe Dustin Hoffman could make a movie titled Rain Deer.

    "495 acorns...definitely 495 acorns."
