I can not find the thread that I am looking for (probably will after I post this) but I want to thank everybody who gave me information on Kindle.

Having coffee this morning with a friend, I mentioned that I was seriously considering buying a Kindle so I could read books in English. He looked at me and asked me why don't I just download it on my mobile. I did and now I have it for free!

My screen is not all that big, but with my reading glassed I have no problem reading. It is really great, so once again, thanks to everyone. I know for sure @Yvonne Smith was one!

I'm glad you can now get your reading fix on the go! However, I would advise getting a second hand Kindle when you get some money stored up, because I think that reading on such small screens for long periods can cause eye problems and mess with your sight.

    The new Amazon Kindle family.

Kindle Colorsoft ($279.99), Kindle Scribe ($399.99), Kindle Paperwhite ($159.99), Kindle ($109.99), Kindle Paperwhite Kids ($179.99)

I wouldn't buy one right now because you'll pay a fraction of the cost during one of Amazon's periodic sales days. The Kindle Scribe is the closest to the Kobo Elipsa I bought. I paid less for the Kobo than Amazon asks for the Scribe, but I bought it on a sales day, typically listed at $399.99.

Apparently, the Kindle Colorosoft is a new product. It's not the Kindle Fire, which they still offer several versions of; this is a color e-reader.

I wish they would stop coming up with new versions of the Kindle and focus on better management of libraries, etc. After all these years of owning Kindles, I still get frustrated trying to find something to read from my library.
