I like my old movies and there is one I'd love to see again but I don't know the title Its about a brother and sister (late teens early 20s) and there Dad was in Vaudeville They see him mope about and want him to be able to go back to the business, so they train and rehearse each day in the garage to entice him back into show business That's it - all I can remember. Any ideas on this movie ?

Can you give us a ballpark about when it was out Patsy. Is it black and white? I would imagine so. Is it very, very old or just moderately old? You should be able to tell by the clothing, cars etc. approximately what era it was. That would narrow it down a bit. I might look for it online. This is the way that you can find the information you need on the movie. I would be glad to look it up if I could get a little more info.
I think that I might have seen that movie that you were talking about , @Patsy Faye . The one that I am thinking of is not a really old movie, and I remember the teenagers practicing out in the big old barn. There was a girl that was almost some kind of a contortionist. They actually did end up performing at the end, but I can't remember any of the people that starred in that movie. Does that sound like it might be the same one that you are thinking about ? I will ask Bobby. He just loves those kinds of movies, and he might remember it. He is the one who was watching it, but I remember seeing it, and the acrobatics out in the barn.
@K E Gordon - I know its a long shot, just hoping someone had seen it and remembers the movie It was 1940s I reckon, Fabs thought the son may have been Dan Daily but I'm not sure You always think these films will be around forever, but sadly they have dwindled over here considerably Thank you Karen for giving it some thought

Checked this movie a couple of years back and googled today - no good so thank you all I've also been trying to find a Cloris Leachman film - She and her husband drive into this little town he gets out to go to a store (its night time) and doesn't come back. The people are hostile as she searches for him Never could find this movie ! Bizarre
YAY ! Just found the Cloris film - its called 'Dying Room Only' Now - I have to see if I can get it !
Managed to order the movie from Amazon shipped from US Its cheered me up to think I'll get to see it again - but emotionally I am struggling with this weather have to lie down for a while
