    53 years ago shots ring out in Dealey Plaza Dallas TX and a young president is assassinated sending the nation into shock and mourning

    Yeah, people often ask "where were you when you heard the news that JFK was shot." I was in a HON company warehouse loading a truck.

    I was in a HS study hall that day. they let us listen to those small hand held radio's with the earphone. one of the student's informed the teacher. some time later they sent us all home. like everyone we were watching it on the ole B&W TV that night.
    the Dallas PD really screwed the pooch here. Oswald should not have been allowed to walk out of that bldg free and clear

    Remember it like yesterday. I had started on my first job out of technical school on Sep. 23, two months earlier, and was pushing a cart with an oscilloscope on it across Fillmore Street from Plant 1 to Plant 2, the guard informed us of the news. It was just about lunchtime......
