I have had many dogs in my life but one of my favorites was this Siberian Husky. Cinnamon was a great girl and everybody who met her loved her and she had the same feelings towards visitors. Rarely did she ever grown at anybody and then only if the person was not nice.or showed some hostility towards me. The neighborhood children especially loved her as she would let them hook up a line to her hardness and drag them on their skateboards up and down the street. She never got tired of this game and my only requirement was that they carried water for her. Although she was housebroken, she preferred to spend the evenings in the back yard as that was her domain. I had water sprayers hooked up so even if it was hot she could cool off during the evening. I had Tuesdays off as business was generally slow on that day and she and I would spend most of the day cooking. At least I was cooking - she was begging. One day she was driving me crazy and finally I tossed a large piece of raw broccoli at her, thinking that she would sniff it and reject it, but no, in about two gulps the vegetable was history. I got concerned as broccoli is not exactly dog food, but when I called her vet he laughed and said no problem, but don't make it a habit. She had a short life, only about 8 years, but when she did pass it looked as if she was smiling.
Hi Priscilla! Yes, she was a super pet (actually a family member) and her eyes were always different colors, but it did not affect her sight!
Cinnamon sounds like she was a wonderful pet. We had a cat that liked ice cream, we were concerned because it was so rich with cream.
