I saw this earlier and wanted to share here. It's a moving video about a man, the choices he's made in his life, and his relationship with his mother.
If my sister used the internet, I'd share it with her, but she doesn't. Her children could really stand to see this.

Well this made me cry even though I really can't relate that much because my kids were different, though not perfect in their teens years. I did sit up waiting though. Will show this to my kids though. Except for the oldest grandson, all the others are too young yet.

That was really nice. I hope everyone on here watches that video. My kids have always talked to me and I've always known how lucky I was that they did. Right now my youngest son (he's 41) is on vacation but he's called to tell me what a great time they are having and last night he put it on speaker phone so his wife could join in also. :)

    I can't watch it if it's cry-worthy.

Yes very moving though like @Chrissy Page I can't completely relate to it because I am very close to my daughters, but I didn't really appreciate my parents, until after they had died.

Although I loved my mother we were not close while I was growing up...at least not in the way I wanted to be with her. Growing up I couldn't understand that when you have nine children you just can't be what each child wants you to be or even needs you to be most of the time. Plus we were so different personality wise that we really didn't "understand" one another. After I became a mother our relationship changed for the better and I understood so much more about my own mom and the love she had for all of her children. And a funny thing happened on the way too. We were so different...but now I am more like my Mother in so many ways and I feel blessed to share those same things with her.
