One that I'll wait to see on Netflix or never. :)

Did like the CCR song at the start of the trailer though, makes me want to listen to their songs now.

The trailer did look interesting though....

I watched the original one (1933), then the one with Jack Black in it (2005) and now this one. Wife don't like these kinds of movies........too dark and scary. When it comes out on Netflix, will take a quick look at it, while she is at work.

Wow!!! I've only seen a few clips of the movie but the movie trailer is awesome!

I've seen all of the Kong movies and have the one with Jack Black in my library. Looks like I'll be having another Kong addition when it hits the stores. Don't like downloading movies rather have the blu-ray or dvd.

@Cody Fousnaugh , I'm almost as bad as your lady. But, I will watch it. I'll have the remote in my sweaty left hand, (nerves, man, nerves), that way I can hit mute button if needed, or change the channel real quick when things get too bloody.

I'll end up watching it two or three times so that I can see the whole movie. I'm brave! As long as I can hide my head once in awhile. :D

I just looked at the trailer for the Skull Island "Kong" movie, and it is definitely NOT going to be on my list of movies to watch. I remember the really old one that was out when I was a kid, and then the one that came out in 2005 that Cody was talking about, and I did like that version.
This one is just too much of nothing except violence for my taste, and is a whole different concept of King Kong from the 2005 movie, which showed him as a creature which had feelings, and not just a destructive beast.

I've seen pieces of some of the earlier Kong movies, but have never sat down and watched a Kong movie. I'm sure the graphics have improved considerably over the years, and I might actually like it. Perhaps I'll watch it when it comes to Netflix or Hulu,

I saw the original King Kong with Fay Wray when I was about 6 in 1957. I don't remember being frightened except by how high he was climbing up the Empire State Building with his beautiful prize.

My favorite scene out of all the King Kong movies, though, and I have watched them all more than once, is Naomi Watts doing all the dance routines she can remember in order to keep him distracted and amused. This version was my favorite because KK was portrayed as having depth.

I intend to see the new one, too, of course! Never too much King Kong!

Saw Kong tonight. It is not quite the same gripping yarn when the giant ape does not take off with the beautiful young woman, though! But it was still entertaining.
I loved the 'stranded WW2 pilot' element of the story, Tom Hiddleston looked appropriately hunky, and Kong had nice soulful eyes. Way too many other monsters for me, but still enjoyed it. Samuel L Jackson was good in his part, and the Vietnam era soundtrack was good.

new one is terrible. The ape does the best acting and the monsters are simply sad renditions of a threat. they would better have dinos as the baddies like maybe a T Rex on steroids

Yes, and unlike the 4 hour Jack Black one which I walked out on because CG is simply too real to watch animals die ... Kong LIVES in this one !!! YAY !!!! (OMG ! was that a spoiler ???)
