and recently bought somehing I didn't need. I bought a cap, a plain, simple, cotton cap. I had been shopping for pants and not seeing exactly what I wanted, I found myself on a site called Bon Clic Bon, a hat and cap shop. I saw this cap, a well constructed cotton cap and bought it. Now I didn't need it but I liked it and bought it. It turns out this is a French site. I haven't gotten the cap yet but it said shipping time was five to ten days. I have seven other caps and hats. While men don't wear hats like they used to, through out the midwest, the plains states, the baseball cap is common fare. I never liked baseball caps and would never vwear one but recently my grandson came over in a Oklahoma baseball cap. I thought it looked good on him and asked him to get me one and gave him my credit card. He did and now I am the owner of a red baseball cap with 'Oklahoma' across the front. This cap I just purchased will be my eighth cap or hat. I almost bought a hat but the one or two I liked were a bit pricy. I wear a hat whenever I am out of the house, and sometime when I am in the house. Here is a picture of the recently purchaed headwear. I noticed a number of golfers were wearing a cap of this nature during the PGA tournament. This one caught my attention. I like the color, not one you see every day, and it is well construsted cotton. It suits me. Not that anyone gives a hang nail but I will show off my collection either as photos or as an avatar. I mean what else can a home bound body do. Cheers.
[ Bill …. That is a great hat! Love the color! I think many would love to see your collection..I would
I'd like to see pics of your hats. My father was of the generation that wore hats all the time. I wore one of these when I had my Austin Healey: I wear baseball caps now, but always the right way...never this: Instructions Not Included
I have bought hats several times, thinking that I liked the look of them, but then I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing them. Mostly, if I wear a hat, it's a baseball-type cap to keep my hair from getting in my way, or a warm one in the winter. I have a few hats that I've taken a picture with on Mac's Photo Booth but have never worn in public.
