I saw some differing prices on gas today as I went to the store. The lowest I saw was 2.04. How much are you paying?

It's always higher here in CA. Last week I paid $2.89. I haven't seen $2.04 in a very long time.

For the cheapest unleaded it's £1.14 per litre here which equates to £5.70 per gallon (which is what I put in my ford fusion)...that converts to $7.33 US dollars super unleaded which my o/h puts in his high end car, is around £.6.50 per gallon which is $8.36 US

    Petrol/gasoline, is extremely expensive here

$2.04 sounds about right for this area right now.

I'm seriously going to move to the USA...I could drive all day and not notice a hole in my pocket given how cheap your fuel is...

There's always a trade off though in some way. I think Canada is also very high but that's how they pay for some of their healthcare...I think. I'm not sure about this though.

A US gallon is smaller than an imperial gallon though, so that makes it £4.30 or $5.54 a US gallon, still a lot more expensive though..

Going to my daughter's house uses up most of the gas I buy....but I still can do the roundtrip on a full tank of gas.

    So about 300 miles.

Of course my sweet daughter always fills up for me. :)

It's the same here, the same prices lately. I've seen it up to 2.29 per gallon, too.

OMG...none of you would be able to afford to run a car here... I'm so jealous, if our fuel was as cheap as the USA I'd be out every day on driving holidays lol

Actually in retrospect, it's probably a good thing it's not as cheap as yours because we're a small Island with over 60 million cars on our very overcrowded roads already...so if we had much cheaper fuel, the motorways would be more of a car park than they already are..

Our fuel prices have gone up almost 10 cents per gallon more than they were about 2 days ago. We had prices from $2-$2.05 yesterday, and this morning, the gas station close to us is at $2.09 for regular. I am sure that it will be climbing even more, and not just us, but probably all over the United States, since most of our oil refineries and the barges that get the oil are either shut down, or possibly damaged from the hurricane.
We just topped off our gas tank, and I think that this is probably a good thing to do, regardless which state you live in. Even without the refineries being closed down, there has been a tremendous usage of fuel in the parts of Texas where the hurricane is at because people got gas, and some evacuated, before the storm came ashore. There were pictures online of huge lines of cars waiting to get fuel before the storm hit and the freeways were closed down.

Mine has gone up also. Just noticed yesterday that it was $3.19 for regular at a 76 station which is on the cheaper side. Chevron is the most expensive here.
