Once but only because the guy knew how to make that rag pop to the sounds of a jazzed up rendition of Sweet Georgia Brown. Otherwise, it’s like calling a plumber. I was taught how to shine my own shoes AND fix my own pipes so why pay someone else to do it? I cut my own hair, I can iron my own clothes and even manually wash the dishes after I’m finished eating. lNote: Besides all that, my present dress shoes are patent leather and my cowboy boots only need saddle soap.
When I was in the Navy, Lon, I sure wish I could've had a professional shine put on either work boots or dress uniform shoes. The shine would've been much, much better than I did.
