Monday here is a legal holiday and everything is closed.. It is Victoria Day.. That's good for the families to do something together.. Also it is the big week-end that the campgrounds open and fishing season is open and boating begins.. Lovely weather all weekend,.... However the black flies are out in full force.. I got about 25 bites on my arms being out for only 1 hour.. Somebody has to feed them, but not me.. We must wear long sleeves, long pants, and use "Deep Woods Off" spray to keep those buggers away...
I forgot to tell you that I also got bit by a tick while I was outside working in the field.. It somehow got under my long pants and almost inside the top of my socks and bit the hell out of me when it burrowed into the top of my leg.. I pulled it out with pointy tweezers and applied some peroxide to disinfect it.. I am OK but I still have a mark on my leg that is healing nicely..
I also forgot to tell you that I saw a cougar in our back yard.. When it saw me, it paused and then slowly went away, but it didn't seem scared.. I was on my tractor at the time...
Well i 'm back , i hope anyway, thanks to my wonderful hubby,, i tried a conversation and had a little problem but am back now , seems i will be having to Log in everytime i come here now,?? a real pain in my back side ,,It use to be that i could just leave when i wanted to,,and i hope and pray it lets me back in again,,,, oye!! Paul went to the VA for his therapy for his back, so am going to wait til he gets here before i have to log out, or just leave. will see what happens, maybe playing some games here now, will help me to stay here anytime i want,, instead of having to log out all the darn time,,OYE!!
Lovely weather up here.. I have been working outside for the past few days.. Today when I was in our back yard close to the house, I saw in the grass some... Bear droppings... I have to get rid of that tomorrow.. Talk about a huge pile..I didn't see a bear yet this year... Only their droppings.. I saw a cougar stalk me which was scary enough..
I am up at 4:30am and I plated a few games while I can get tired again and go back to sleep... Well, here goes... Bye till tomorrow...............

No... I had a good sleep and I feel much better, thanks !!! I often get up during the night to go to the bathroom and I sometimes have trouble falling back asleep, so I come on here for a while till I get tired again...

We are going out to a lovely lodge for supper on Friday .. I know my birthday is on Thursday, but on Friday it will be much more convenient to go out to celebrate..
