I have to go for now. I hope Steve got home safely and got a good report from his doctor. See y'all tomorrow.
Yes I to wondered where he was when I came here earlier and hadn’t seen him play any games Morning Shirley
G'day all y'all. My Bubbles has defied us with his heart murmur battle and turns 14 today.. the longest any of our dogs have lived. You are a stoic fella little buddie. Hope you will be with us for much longer.
We are good Shirley Hey Craig it’s nice to have pets , but it heartbreaking to loose them that’s why we don’t have any after our little silky terrier died we said that’s it ...I’m tempted to have one of the Pups my daughters dogs had a month ago ..but if we want to travel when WE FEEL it’s ok to do so , pets restrict where you can go ..so we said no to the pup Look at little bubbles smiling in that photo
You're right not to get the pup, Kate. I have my son to look after Miki while I'm away. Otherwise, I'd not be able to go.
Thanks Shirley. They are precious out pets.. like our family. Bonnie appears over her infection and is well on the mend.
Is it what Kate. I lost two in six months. Devastated. We continue to be gluttons for punishment so have more pets as they make our lives happier. What is more important the joy they bring or missing the odd holiday?
I'm back.... FINALLY …. One day late.. Good news and bad news....……….. Good news...I don't need a new shoulder operation... NO WAY... !!! There is nothing wrong with my shoulder implant.. Both my hips are OK but the right one is starting to show a bit of wear in the socket.. It should be good for a long time yet.. It is now 14 years ago since I had it done.. Left hip and right shoulder are perfect.. Bad news... I saw my doctor on Wednesday as planned and he took a series of X-Rays.. My left shoulder that has been troubling me for some time has a swollen ligament (or something) which is rubbing on the inside of the top of the shoulder bone.. He gives in the hospital every Thursday injections and he booked me for the following day for a cortisone injection in my shoulder to relieve the swelling.. That meant I stayed over for one more day.. I had the injection at 9:30am and then drove home from Sault Ste. Marie to Massey about 225kms... That took 3 hours.. Weather was just fine at -2c and sunny.. Perfectly dry roads.. It is now 10:30pm and most of the pain has gone, but not all.. I don't have to take any pain killers any more.. My doctor wants to have a phone call with me in 2 weeks instead of travelling back.. So far, so good but how long will it last is another thing..
It is now almost midnight and I am off to bed to get s good night's sleep.. It was quite the eventful day and it started very early.. I'm pooped and exhausted.. We will sleep in tomorrow for sure..
Welcome back Steve it’s good news you don’t need further surgery ,I’ve had a few of those cortisone injections in my hip under X-ray for bursitis . I can feel for you being so pooped from driving that’s how I was after coming home from Adelaide after Ron’s hospitalisation / surgery I was so tired I had a job to put one foot after another for almost a week after coming home but I had to push on Take care rest up and you’ll be as good as new to come back and play games
thanks Kate...... I seem to bounce back after a good nights sleep, a day of rest, and a good meal.. Nothing like …. Home Sweet Home ... What I forgot to say in the other post, is that the doctor during his examination of my left arm and shoulder, found I had very good strength in the arm even with the pain.. There were movement restrictions, for example, I can't lift my arm up high or extend it out very far.. Playing games on here takes my mind off my problems, if even for a short time..
