Steve, I hope the ice in the ditches melts so that y'all don't have flooding. Are you on high enough ground so that you aren't in danger of flooding? Thunderstorm coming here. 'Bye, y'all.
Well Shirley.. It doesn't matter about the flooding because if it is going to hit me, it will.. Our house isn't on high ground but there isn't any threat of water anywhere near our house.. should some water want to come into our basement, we don't have one.. We have about 4 feet of crawl space with an earth floor.. There is a large pipe in our crawl space that would drain any water right back into our field bed.. No problem there.. We have NEVER had any problems since we have been living here.. Newish roof.. Thermo windows,, No leakage anywhere.. What is different is we live in an "A" Frame house which means the upstairs bedrooms have slanted ceilings.. We can hear the rain hitting the roof.. Like camping..... The ditches still have about 6 feet of snow in them... most likely ice on the bottom as well.. Thanks for asking but we will be in perfect shape..
Had my stitches out yesterday after the Biopsy... Now I'm just getting ready to leave for my weekly Physio on my Knee.. and it's absolutely ashing down from the heavens....

Holly, any lesion that doesn't heal is worrisome. I had a spot on my arm last year. It was skin cancer but not the bad kind. I forgot what he called it. He cut it out and I'm fine now. It just left a little scar and you can't even see that now unless you really look for it. I've been cleaning my new gourds today. I still have some to do tomorrow. Work! Work! Work! A woman's work is never done.
At our age anything that goes wrong could be bad... We have to stay healthy and we have to keep on complaining.. as long as we can complain, we are doing OK... When we stop complaining, we are in trouble...
I finished cleaning the gourds. I will paint them and hang them next week, Probably Monday. They have to dry completely first. Going down east to go fishing tomorrow. Probably won't be online until Monday.
