I'm sure people other than we people from Houston will like this read. There is also one in Baton Rouge but I have never seen any expose like this one for the Galveston site. https://www.click2houston.com/news/2015/10/23/the-grave-history-of-galvestons-cemeteries/
The movie on youtube has the same text or speech. 3 layers of graves are there, that is what I figure for all these other big city cemeteries that never seem to fill up. Not only that but complete crypts are covered with just the roofs above ground. Here in this state all burials are above ground due to ground water being very shallow.
Interesting piece. Thanks. Poltergeist came to mind and it adds to the term mass grave. If it is bad luck to leave the cemetery last doesn't that make for a dangerous scramble out?
When they mentioned the one ghost in the Galveston cemetery, I was remembering stories of renters at my farm who told of a family cemetery two farms down. A small girl ghost has been seen there by children (one was a grown up renter at my place) Made me kind of sad. I never went down to check on the story out but thought about it.
