I'm very picky about food safety, but occasionally run into questions and every www site says something different. So I'll take you guys' word for it if you have an opinion on this: I bought a package of ground beef last Friday, and put it in the refrigerator. Didn't have time to cook it til Sunday. Today is Tuesday- do you think it's still fresh? I almost never eat meat that's been in the refrigerator for more than 2 days, whether it's raw or cooked, but I've been so busy that I lost track of time with this one.
