20, 30 years ago, worldwide concern was propagated, gradually, supported by Scientists and Experts, based on, of course, no solid test evidence, that the magnetic fields generated by overhead power-lines was causing higher than expected rates of cancer in folks living near such fields. Great response to this possibility was heard, which slowly was extended to the fields ever-present passing through the brains of users of cellphones. Indeed, some gave up their use. Or carefully began to regulate unnecessary use of them. If increased brain cancer incidence was present, that change has NOT been linked by careful study to cell phones. Note that today, the rage has turned just the opposite way: it is now desirable, even highly recommended, that folks take ADVANTAGE of the beneficial health aspects of magnetic fields, any number of schemes being marketed to bring that about. Magnetic wrist bracelets are being touted as being the answer to Arthritis, Psoriasis, skin cancer, hives, etc. Complete turn-around. All in the chase for money. Frank
