It's strange that Marlon Brando rode a Triumph in "The Wild One" (1953), while everyone else rode Harleys..... Hal
Maybe Triumph was his favorite bike. Back in those days lots of people liked the English bikes better than the oil leakers.
Since this thread is titled Brando and not motorcyles or wild ones IMO the best movie Marlon ever made was The Ugly American from 1963 concerning a fictional southasian country on the brink of civil war and the U.S. backing the side guaranteeing that we would embark on a war. It was really about Vietnam, of course, and prophetic since years later the Pentagon Papers were published. Loved Brando. He was so daring and bold as an actor. Incredible range..............oh, speaking of range, I heard years ago of this story: Brando was very obese before his death and was put on a strict diet. He paid people to buy him junk food and he would stand inside his property fence while these 'employees' would pick various places outside to throw the food over and Brando would 'graze' for it! Always found that hilarious.
One of the strangest movies and characterizations that Brando ever did was The Island of Dr. Moreau...

My favorite scene in the movie was when Zapata's white horse ran off and stood upon a mountain after his execution. Very sad. Hal
His most mature role was Marc Anthony in "Julius Caesar," although I thought the movie itself was boring. His worst role was as Stanley Kowalski in his brutish treatment of his wife's sister Blanche DuBois in "Streetcar". I liked him in "The WIld One", however. Hal
I liked his role in Apocalypse Now, as odd as it was. The Missouri Breaks was a strange movie for him to be in. The same applies to Nicholson.
