I think I know the first sixteen. Two or three of the remaining look familiar but can't put names to faces.
I know most of them and watched their shows. Met James Drury aka The Virginian and Doug McClure aka Trampas at a Celebrity Rodeo. Dan Haggerty aka Grizzley Adams was there also.
Even I recognize most but some like Tonto and the Lone Ranger and the Rifleman, I can't remember their real names.
Tonto (Jay Silverheels, Canadian Mohawk Indian). Lone Ranger (Clayton Moore). Rifleman (Chuck Conners).
Oh yes...now I remember! It's still early here and I'm just waking up. I had a crush on Clayton Moore way back when.... maybe it was the mask, lol....because I also had a crush on Zorro.
I watch a lot of Western tv shows way back when. I still watch Gunsmoke, Bonanza and the Rifleman on ME TV network. I have the DVD movie, The Gambler Returns: Luck Of The Draw. It has numerous old Western stars in it. Also have a color DVD movie of The Lone Ranger starring Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels. Have a picture of Western tv stars famous horses. It hangs on our Western & Rodeo wall.
Don't recognize that these Western stars are part of this picture, but also use to watch: Sky King, Sgt. Preston of the Yukon, High Chaparral and Cisco Kid. And, it's not just the men stars that I liked, also like the ladies in these Western's: Barbara Stanwick and Linda Evens in The Big Valley. Dale Evans. Amanda Blake (Kitty) in Gunsmoke. The lady, Patricia Blair starred as Fess Parker's wife in Daniel Boone and as an Inn Keeper in the Rifleman. What's really sort of funny, is to see an actor in a Western tv show who later starred in another type of tv show. Was watching Gunsmoke the other day and I knew the actor that played two parts (brothers). It was Jack Lord before he starred in Hawaii Five-O. Lorne Greene, Michael Landon, Pernell Roberts and David Canary were the same way after starring in Bonanza. They all starred in tv shows after Bonanza, that wouldn't be call "Western's". The ranch hand, David Canary, in Bonanza, was in a weekly soap opera until his death. Dennis Weaver starred in Gunsmoke as Marshall Matt Dillon's helper and then went on to star in his own modern tv Western, McCloud........that I also watched. Burt Reynolds was in Gunsmoke as a blacksmith and helped Marshall Dillon out a number of times.
You part of the later "Baby Boomers"? Wife and I are from the early (beginning) "Baby Boomers" being that we were born in 1948 (her) and 1949 (me).
