I watched Ep. 1 of four, this morning. I love cooking and food history/food anthropology, first peoples and the like but I was a bit shocked during the beginning, in fact I had to look away a little. Fascinating, though. Vegans will have a hard time with it. If you like anthropology and how humans relate to cooking, you'll like it. Just watch out for a kind of gross thing in the beginning. I read a criticism saying it should have more episodes, that there's not enough time for thorough explanation.
