I have not been to Disney world much and never to Disneyland. But to lose Cinderella's castle wherever would be a big loss in my opinion. Iconic and beautiful, it stands for the dreams of the past. But maybe the past is what the new Disney people want to erase? Sad.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...-photo-cinderella-castle-on-fire/72786912007/ The photo that tricked people into believing that Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World in Florida burned down was generated using artificial intelligence by a satirical site called Mouse Trap News, the outlet told USA TODAY on Friday. Cinderella Castle didn't burn down, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are not renting Disney World for a day, and the park's ticket prices will not triple by 2025. Those are all stories made up by Mouse Trap News, which bills itself as the "moused trusted name in Disney news" and fully declares that it publishes "real Disney news that is 100% fake."
Ah….a castle indicative of white privilage and a patriarchal society not to mention the probability that slaves built the castle. The spires are sexist and misogynistic in that the structures are little more than phallic symbols that denote and angrandize the superiority of men. The story even goes further with a fairy birthing person with a god complex who enlists the help of rats, a symbolic rodent meant to undermine the underclass’s humanity and places them as mere slaves to pull a over-the-top and highly ornate grand carriage indicative of how the elite are tiered high above that of the common person. In the story we see no equity, no diversity and the only inclusion we find is when the white girl is favored and desired by a wanton, lust filled prince with a foot fetish. Burn it down ! Burn it down i say !!
Yes,My grand kids love that castle.I've been to Disney 3 times and each time we had breakfast in the castle with all the princesses. It was great fun for the kids.
